What is a better rental property? A single family house or a duplex.? - metropolitan property and casualty

I plan on spending about $ 80,000 in Cleveland.

Did they make more money with one another than they? It's harder to keep than others?

How much money for maintenance, insurance, taxes, etc., can expect the owners, in a rental property of $ 80,000 in one years face. ... Yes, I know, but it is assumed that the Cleveland metropolitan area in an average district.

A duplex that will bring more ... It is true that the income should be lower in the individual, but in the same house. The duplex is a bit longer but the extra rent money, you pay for it. To determine how much to do ... It's something you need to search in your area. Talk to a broker for taxes and things that you can be a rough estimate. Look in your local newspaper and see what you rent for a month. Not so hard, just alittle time.

Much has changed with the amount of rent which have recovered their tenants again. Which is determined by the costs of maintenance, repairs, insurance and utilities, the owner has to pay. The duplexes are no longer work because the cost of repairs doubles. Take, for example, a duplex has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on each side. Instead of just 2 baths, which may develop problems with sanitation, like you would in a family that now has four bathrooms that potential problems could engender that could cost you more in repairs. It is the same for everyone. Calculate the potential cost would be much diminished property, twice the cost of repairs and maintenance in a duplex. To determine the amount of rent you would have a clear advantage of a duplex application. If you make a larger profit margin, would be a better house a duplex. They are less trouble and expense, and a better basis to increase their profits.
