TSH thyroid test test is 5.00, isn't this borderline high (indicating low thyroid)? - tsh thyroid test
my dr. was a test of the thyroid TSH. My result is 5.00. From what I read it is as high as the number of tests and still be considered within the normal range. But dr. said my thyroid is fine, because 5 is still in normal range.
I have symptoms of low thyroid (chapped lips, itchy eyes, congestion, aches and pains, fatigue, low libido, is the body temperature remains 96.5-97.5)
My two brothers are medications for low thyroid, so in my family.
